Oregon's Best Program

Whether a recipe contest focusing on a specific ingredient, or competitions that judge the fastest times or longest distances, Oregon's Best contests bring agriculture to fair-goers - with a dash of fun. 

As a sponsor of an Oregon's Best contest, you receive the following benefits:

One page dedicated to the sponsor in the Oregon State Fair website program and on the ABC's Oregonfresh.net website.
On-site sponsor signage in the ABC booth and at center stage. Signage will be produced by ABC.
The sponsor will be entitled to distribute promotional literature, recipes, etc. during the event.
Sponsor event listing in the 12,000 day programs handed out at the gates.
Winning recipes and photos to be featured on the ABC website, www.oregonfresh.net.
Special advance mailing to the State Fair's extensive Home Arts list. The promotional mailing will be produced and mailed by ABC.
Sponsor-specific calendar listing distributed by State Fair to The Oregonian (circulation 370,000), the Salem Statesman-Journal (64,000) plus 100 other media outlets.
Dedicated time during State Fair for contest judging and display of all entries. Sponsor to determine criteria for contests. ABC will coordinate contest registration, display of entries and, if the sponsor chooses, judging. ABC will also coordinate all Oregon's Best activities with the staff of the Oregon State Fair. Free admittance to the State Fair for each contestant the day of the contest.
The sponsor will be entitled to a reasonable number of VIP parking and guest admission passes to the State Fair on the day of the contest.
On stage recognition for the presentation of awards by the contest sponsor. Sponsor to determine and provide prizes. Official 1st, 2nd and 3rd place State Fair ribbons will be provided at no charge.
Optional cooking demo featuring sponsor products. ABC and the sponsor to coordinate professional guest chef and scheduling. Sponsor to provide guidelines for professional chef demo.

Sponsor Fee:

State Fair:
$975 per contest plus cost of prizes of sponsor's choosing.

County Fairs:
$975 plus cost of prizes.
ABC will act as liaison with County Fairs and will coordinate activities, which in the past year has included participation from 22 - 32 different County Fairs.
